Lightning Elite Program:
Elite Boys Structure:
- 6 Boys Teams in the Elite Academy League (EAL):
- U13/U14/U15/U16/U17/U19
- Opposition clubs in Colorado/New Mexico/Utah/Arizona/Nevada in the Southwest Desert Conference
- U13/U14 Fall and Spring commitment (Full Year)
- Pre-season starts in late July
- Fall games commence in September
- Short mid-season break over Christmas (3-4 weeks)
- Spring games commence end of January
- The season ends in May unless teams make the Nationals held in St. Louis in June each year!
- One mandatory EAL event (Fri/Sat/Sun) with 3 games against opposition from across the conferences in Provo, UT in September
- U15-U19 Spring season commitment ONLY (i.e. January-May)
- Pre-season starts in December
- Games commence end of January
- The season ends in May unless teams make the Nationals held in St. Louis in June each year!
- One mandatory EAL event (Fri/Sat/Sun) with 3 games against opposition from across the conferences in Tuscon, AZ in March/early April
- Teams will train 3-4 times per week (90 minute sessions) held at Future Legends on the Stadium turf pitch, Dome turf pitch or on the futsal courts
- Elite level goalkeepers will receive specialty coaching once weekly in season at no additional cost

- Club will use parent chaperones starting in 2025/26 for travel weekends to assist in cost reduction and coordinated travel logistics that will result in greater unity and camaraderie for the teams
Elite Girls Travel:
- Each Elite Gilrs team will attend 3-4 ‘out of state’ match weekends per year playing 2 games against non-Colorado teams in the Southwest Desert Conference

Elite Boys Cost:
- U13/U14 = $2300/player (*this will increase for the 2025/26 season)
- Current cost = $1175/player (*this will increase for the 2025/26 season)
- Registration cost includes team fees for all fixtures, coach compensation, referee fees, pitch rental, equipment, insurance, Veo Player Spotlight game footage
- Additional costs for families:
- Uniform Package - currently costing $450/player via hummel
- All travel costs - i.e. transportation/accomodation/food/other expenses
- CSA team registration fee for entry into the Advanced League (should coach/team determine that they can make commitment to the additional 8-9 games)
